In epic fashion the Philadelphia Eagles took down the New England Patriots 41-33 to claim Super Bowl LII, marking the official end of the 2017 season and the unofficial beginning to the 2018 offseason. That means there’s no more meaningful football to be played for seven months. On the bright side though, as of today, all 32 teams have a clean slate and the race to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII is on.
The Buffalo Bills certainly hope to build on a historic 2017 season that saw the franchise’s 17-year playoff drought come to an end by advancing all the way to the big game. And you may be wondering what their chances are of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. Vegas has got you covered, and they’re not giving the Bills much love.
According to the Westgate SuperBook, Buffalo comes in at +8000 to win Super Bowl LIII. Five other teams share those odds with the Bills, which are also the second lowest of the 32 teams. Only the Browns, Jets and Bears have worse odds at +10000.
Fresh off their Super Bowl victory last night, the Eagles odds at repeating (+600) are actually lower than that of the runner-up, Patriots (+450). The Steelers have the third-best odds at +800, with the Vikings and Packers rounding out the top five teams with +1200 odds.
For what it’s worth, Philadelphia started last offseason at an uninspiring +4000, so no need to count the Bills or any team out just yet. A lot will change before the season actually begins.
