4) Tremaine Edmunds
Another area where the Bills defense was lackluster in 2017 was in stopping the run where they allowed the fourth most yards in the NFL. Enter No. 16 overall pick Tremaine Edmunds. No, he can’t do it all on his own, but the immediate presence of the athletic, rangy linebacker in the middle of the defense will help right the ship. The hope is that Edmunds becomes the Luke Kuechly of Sean McDermott’s unit that wreaked havoc down in Carolina. With the revamped defensive line in front of him and a dominant secondary behind him, if Edmunds can pick things up quickly the sky is truly the limit for this group.
